GORILLA TREK (1) ran fourth at his latest appearance over 1m at Louisiana Downs, finishing 4 lengths from the winner. Should be in the finish. DICK BEST (5) was thereabouts last time out when second at Hawthorne (Dirt) over 6½f, beaten a nose. Commendable record at this trip with a win and three minor placings and should prove tough to beat. HAWKS CREEK (3) was comfortably accounted for when sixth last time out over 7½f at Hawthorne, beaten 7 lengths. That followed a win at Hawthorne at the previous outing. Taking on a better field but he is good enough. SKIPPER'S PRIDE (8) could only manage tenth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 7½f at Remington Park, beaten just one length. Suitably placed so he can feature again.
