PURPLE HEART (1) wasn't far away on debut last start over 6f at this track (Dirt), finishing fourth and beaten 2.75 lengths. Open to improvement and looks a serious contender. ONE IMPROBABLE (4) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 9 lengths when sixth over 5½f at this track three weeks ago. Won't find this as tough so he is set to turn things around. CATMAN TOMKINS (3) is a nicely bred three-year-old colt making his first appearance at the races. By Tom's D'etat from Catkins who has produced a winner at stakes level. Promising type who is worth considering if popular in betting. CROOKED BULLET (6) returned from a lay-off three weeks ago when he was beaten 13 lengths into eighth over 5½f at this track. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
