PUPPETEER (4) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race when fresh from a lay-off last time out, finishing second and beaten only 1.3 lengths over 6½f at Delta Downs (Dirt) after being in the firing line on the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. WHATTA LIFE (6) has been racing well without winning. Last start finished second, beaten one length, over 5f at Delta Downs (Dirt). In-form four-year-old gelding so he is expected to be in the finish. APRIORITY ROCKET (7) finds it hard to win with just one success from 15 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when seventh over 6f at this track, beaten 12 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run. VERO CAMPIONE (2) was well in the market when resuming last start but failed to threaten when a disappointing fourth at this track (Dirt) over 6f. Winning rider E M Murray sticks.
