GOBOT (1) turned in a modest performance when fifth last time out over 1m1/2f at Delta Downs, beaten 7 lengths. That followed a win at Delta Downs at the previous outing. Has started three times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. GALLANT STAR (5) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on August 9 finishing seventh and beaten 10 lengths over 1m at Evangeline Downs (Dirt). Rates highly and should take some beating. BLEEP BLEEP (7) filled a minor placing when fresh from a lay-off two starts ago. Could not back that up last time when 18 lengths away in eighth over 7f at Delta Downs (Dirt). One of the chances based on his best recent efforts. SEEHOSS (8) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fourth over 7f at Delta Downs (Dirt) after being prominent until the final stages. Suitably placed so anticipating a bold performance.
