LIGHTONTHEWING (3) represents another good chance for the local stable on the card and was only narrowly denied on soft ground at Chepstow three weeks ago. Goes well here and this likeable veteran will be hard to stop. TED THE THIEF (4) earned a deserved success three weeks ago when winning at Taunton on heavy ground. Different proposition. But hard to fault. GINGERBRED (2) is on a long losing run but is never too far away and likes it at this track. Strong place claims once again. THE SCORPION KING (1) has been disappointing this season but will find life easier in this grade and is worth a market check.
