O'EXPLOSIVE (3) was never in contention last time over 7f at Gatton when he finished seventh, beaten 13 lengths. This looks a nice race so expect him to be right in the finish. DON'T STOP ME NOW (8) is a consistent performer with two minor placings from three starts this campaign. Was handy all the way and finished a head from the winner in second last time out over 1m at Toowoomba. Tackling a more suitable race so she is sure to prove hard to beat. HOT CONQUEST (1) was beaten 0. 7 lengths into second at Eidsvold two starts ago then finished 12 lengths from the winner in fifth last time at Gympie. Blinkers added this time. Suited here and can feature with even luck. THE IMMORTALS (5) was prominent at the bend and finished third last time over 7½f at Kilcoy, beaten 3 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Capable of another bold effort.
