PRINCE OF MARAKESH (9) turned in a strong performance when resuming when in the money at Gatton but disappointed last time when sixth, beaten 3 lengths, at Gatton over 4f65yards. Won't find this as tough so he can find the winners' list. ON THE TARGET (5) hit the frame two starts ago at Kilcoy but ran below par last time when eighth and beaten 3 lengths over 5f at Sunshine Coast. Finds a more suitable contest and can turn things around. FIRST GRANGE (4) finished out of the money two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 6 lengths when tenth in a 5f contest at Queanbeyan two months ago. This doesn't look as hard so he is likely to play a big role. JAIN (13) was comfortably accounted for when third last time out over 4¼f at Gympie, beaten 3.5 lengths, after a win at Wondai at the previous outing. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
