Good record at this journey with four wins and two minor placings from nine starts and is sure to play a big role. FINE SHOT (3) is having his first run since December 6. Has never missed the top-three at the start of his campaigns, and he did win over 6f at Rockhampton at the start of last prep. Capable of playing a major role. JUST SUPER (1) was well supported when resuming last time out over 5½f at Springsure and proved too strong, scoring by 5 lengths. THE SQUIRE (4) has not appeared since he finished fifth over 6f at Thangool on November 29. Makes plenty of appeal.
