SHY REBEL (4) didn't do a bad job when third last start over 1m at this track, beaten 2 lengths. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Yet to miss the frame in two starts over this course and distance. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot make amends. CALYX ROSE (3) was below her best last time when sixth over 1m at Barcaldine, beaten 7 lengths. Finds a nice race and can bounce back. FIELD MASTER (7) made progress last time out, finishing 4. 5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 6½f at Longreach. This doesn't look as hard so he is a major player. HOT SUMMER (5) is on a quick back-up after finishing eighth in better company eight days ago over 1m at Rockhampton. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
