PALAZZO SPIRIT (3) gets a change of rider and has been freshened up since finishing sixth over 5f at Aramac last start. Forgive that latest effort. In the mix. FINE SHOT (1) finished sixth two runs back at Rockhampton then improved last time out to score by 1.2 lengths as favourite over 6f87yards at this track. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. GROWL (7) built on a nice second two starts back at Middlemount with success as public elect over 5f at Yeppoon seven-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 1.5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
