Likely improver with strong prospects. Well placed and expected to feature. HAWKER (5) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when sixth over 6f at Santa Anita (Dirt). Has a strong record at the third run in and is among the leading chances. BARRISTER PROOF (8) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when fourth over 6f at this track, beaten 9 lengths. One of the main hopes.
