CLUB MESQUITE (1) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at this track (Dirt) over 1m1/4f after being prominent from the outset. Drawn to stalk the leaders. Well placed this line-up and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. ORTH (2) was prominent at the turn and ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 1m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Meets some better types this time but he has the talent to test this line-up. QUALITY CAT (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m1/4f at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths into sixth. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
