Among the leading chances. SHADOWED THOUGHTS (2) returns from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when sixth over 5½f at Santa Anita (Dirt). Should park just off the speed. Expecting a bold showing. SEEYAMIA (8) went forward and proved too strong when resuming last time out, scoring by 3.5 lengths over 5f at Eastern Oregon Livestock Show (Dirt). Taking on a better line-up this time but she deserves plenty of thought. RUBY RENDEZVOUS (5) did a great job to score by 1.75 lengths over this course and distance last start in a far better effort. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
