STAR SAVER (5) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing third last time out over 1m at Presque Isle Downs (Synthetic). Taking on a better line-up this time but he deserves plenty of thought. FITZGERALD (1) strode forward early from his wide draw last start over 1m1/2f at Churchill Downs (Dirt) only to fade late and finish fourth. Will be handy in the run and should prove hard to run down. PROPS (2) missed the placings two runs back then was always well out of his ground last start when 23 lengths away in eighth over 1m at this track. Finds a more suitable contest and can turn things around. CARDINAL UNION (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6½f at Churchill Downs, beaten 7 lengths into fifth. Nicely placed to find some form.
