LIUZZA (8) returns from a layoff of nine weeks. Scored over 6f at Oaklawn Park to launch the last campaign. Now under the care of new trainer Troy Newton. Rates highly and is likely to be prominent. TALKIN IN CURSIVE (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6½f at Churchill Downs, beaten 7 lengths into fifth after being in the firing line on the corner. Won't find this as tough so she will be hard to beat. PROTOMAGIC (1) fought on well for second last start over 7f at Churchill Downs (Dirt), making it three minor placings in a row. Distance specialist with five wins and 10 minor placings from 22 runs and is one of the contenders. Set Weights IFTWIND (7) raced on the speed from the outset last start and finished second, beaten one length, over 5½f at Louisiana Downs (Dirt). Worth noting Erik Asmussen goes aboard. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within her grasp.
