SEMPER PRIMUS (1) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at his second outing when prominent at the bend, finishing 1.5 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 6½f at this track. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. THE CHALK (6) is yet to break through in six runs. Finished fifth at his last appearance over 5½f at this track (Turf) on August 1 after he was well back on straightening. Rates highly in this field and can turn things around. STOMP (2) has not been to the races since he finished third on debut over 6f at Oaklawn Park on February 8. Profiles to run well. ATLAL (4) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of six-and-a-half months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 1m1/2f at Tampa Bay Downs (Turf). Good effort to kick-off last prep when in the money at Aqueduct over 7f. Nicely placed and can figure in the finish.
