DECANTED (9) was in the firing line on the turn and progressed nicely last start to finish a close third over 1m at Churchill Downs after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is likely to play a big role. CAROOM (6) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 12 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 1m1/2f at Churchill Downs, beaten 8 lengths. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is a major player. BENCH (2) is a progressive six-year-old gelding who hasn't raced since finishing second over 7½f at Horseshoe Indianapolis (Turf) on June 13 which was the only run of that prep. Has a strong fresh record including a win and two minor placings. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. One of the main contenders. THOMAS AQUINAS (7) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at this track, beaten 10 lengths into fourth. Well placed to bounce back.
