SPIRIT RAGS (10) knuckled down strongly to get within 1.5 lengths of the winner in third last start over 1m at this track. Sure to go well again. BAYTOWN BEATLE (7) finished third, beaten 1.3 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 1m at Horseshoe Indianapolis (Dirt) after he was in contention on the turn. Taking on a better field but he is up to the task. HEADS OF ARGUMENT (12) is a first-starter by Constitution from the former top race mare Do You Remember who has in turn produced the winner of a black type. Comes from a stable which has an impressive strike rate with the first-starters. Should be thereabouts despite an awkward stall. BLUE COAST (3) is a two-year-old colt on debut from the stable of Brendan P Walsh. By Omaha Beach from High Performer. Top-three chance.
