ROYAL INFERENCE (3) finished fourth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 7f at Mt Gambier, beaten 6 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. COORANGA (1) broke his maiden last start over 7f at Albury, scoring by a head. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Brodie Loy was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Can go right on with the job now. MORE HIGHS ON ME (8) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when she was prominent at the turn before being beaten 4. 5 lengths into ninth over 6½f at Swan Hill. Will enjoy a drop in class so she will prove hard to beat. THE BANTAM (5) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when ninth over 7f at Seymour. Finds a more suitable contest and can find winning form again.
