Nicely placed to figure in the outcome. HEGELY (8) closed off strongly last start to get up for second, beaten a nose, over 5f at Donald. Among the leading chances. TAUPE (12) resumes from a lay-off of four months after closing off last campaign with three consecutive minor placings. Blinkers added should be competitive. MYSTERIOUS MASTER (5) returns from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months and is having his first run for a new yard. Finished fourth at Hawkesbury over 6½f when when resuming last time in work. Will be forward for this after a recent trial win at Bendigo.
