FONN POWER (3) registered his first win last start over 7f58yards at Kyneton, getting home by a neck. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Nicely placed to double the win tally. OCEANS ABOVE (5) saluted at the first run back from a lay-off last start over 1m at Kilmore, scoring by one length. Has been given a let-up of two weeks since that outing. Will be better for that latest run and looks a big threat to the top selection. CARING LASS (10) made progress last time out, finishing 5 lengths from the winner in third over 1m1/2f at Gawler. Placed to advantage so anticipating another big run.
