EXTREME ALLY (15) has been freshened since finishing tenth over 5½f at Ballarat Synthetic. Fitness level should be good following a subsequent Flemington trial. Rates highly and is one of the leading contenders. BRENLYN'S TROOPER (14) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten one length when fifth in a 5½f contest at Kilmore a week-and-a-half ago. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. IRRESISTIBLE SIR (12) was responsible for a better run last start at the second run of the prep, beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth over 6f at Moe. Well placed to bounce back.
