LULU DARLING (4) closed off strongly last start to get up for second, beaten a long neck, over 6f at Sandown-Lakeside. Sound record at this distance with three wins and five minor placings from 12 runs and is a leading contender. PATCHOULI DREAM (6) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Sandown-Lakeside, beaten 2.25 lengths into seventh. Meets some better types this time but a big run will not surprise. SIMPLY SPARKLEZ (5) improved sharply on her eighth two starts back at Ararat with a win over 5f at Donald a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by half a length. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is right in contention. MAJESTIC REWARD (13) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a nose from the winner in second over 5f155yards at Geelong. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
