SCHIMMELBUSCH (3) turned in a nice effort last time out at the second run of the campaign when he made late ground and finished just 1.3 lengths from the winner in second over 5½f at Benalla. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. BRAVUE (1) is back after a break of nine weeks. At the last run before the layoff he finished 12th over 6½f at Swan Hill. Nicely placed and expected to go well. STRAS 'N' PICKLES (14) finished out of the money but was not too far away when resuming last start over 6f at Mornington. Will appreciate the drop in grade. Has winning claims. ROLIHLAHLA (2) drifted back and never threatened when eighth last start over 5½f at Benalla. Nicely placed to bounce back.
