PINK VIXEN (6) improved sharply on her 13th two starts back in the G3 Winx Guineas at Sunshine Coast with a win over 1m1f at Gold Coast a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by 0. 6 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Finds a tougher race but another win beckons. VANDEVELDE (7) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 1m1f at Gold Coast, beaten only 0. 6 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Finds a tougher race but another big run is on the cards. VOODOO LASS (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6¾f at Doomben, beaten 3 lengths into tenth. This is a nice drop in grade so she is a major player. Set Weights AG (3) settled well back last time out then found the line strongly to finish 6 lengths away in fourth over 1m at Grafton. One to watch for in the concluding stages.
