RALPHIE (8) finished out of the money two starts back then he got a long way back and was beaten 5. 5 lengths when ninth over 6f at Gold Coast two-and-a-half weeks ago. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. MISHANI EGO (9) was prominent at the turn and finished third last time over 5½f at Gatton, beaten 1. 3 lengths.
