CRANKY HARRY (18) knuckled down strongly to get within a head of the winner in second last start over 1m at Doomben. Should camp just off the leaders. Leading contender. PIPPIE BEACH (15) found the line nicely to grab third last time out over 1m in the G3 Pam O'Neill Stakes at Doomben. Easier assignment this time. Expected to be in the finish. TAVS (9) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when 16th over 6¾f in the G3 BRC Sprint at Doomben after he got a long way back. Should be peaking now and shapes as a leading player. BENGAL DIAMOND (17) is putting together some solid results. Finished third in the LR Silk Stocking at Gold Coast two starts back then scored by a neck last time out over 7f at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
