GRAFTERBURNERS (1) was in the money when resuming at Randwick then could only manage 13th last time out over 6f in the G1 Doomben 10,000. Rates highly and can bounce back. BEADMAN (3) ran fifth at his latest appearance over 6f at Doomben, finishing 2. 5 lengths from the winner. Will be hard to beat. NAVY PILOT (8) settled towards the tail when resuming last start then wound up strongly to score by 1. 75 lengths over 5½f at Bendigo. Takes on a better field this time but still one of the main contenders. BRAVE MONARCH (5) scored last start in the G2 Queensland Guineas at this track to make it two wins from three starts this campaign. Will find this a little easier than last start. Too good to ignore.
