ICARIAN DREAM (2) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1. 1 lengths from the winner in second over 6¾f at Doomben. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is one of the chief contenders. KOHLER KID (6) was far too good when resuming last start when he scored by 5 lengths over 6½f at Rockhampton. Will be better for that latest run and looks a big threat to the top selection. ADORABLE THOUGHT (8) is a progressive galloper who is when resuming since finishing 13th over 7f in the LR Magic Millions 3yo Guineas at Gold Coast three-and-a-half months ago. Fitter for recent trials. Has never been out of the placings when resuming from two tries. Harder here but should be involved in the finish. HE'S TRU BLUE (9) returned from a lay-off four weeks ago when he was beaten 5 lengths into sixth over 6f at this track. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
