WELWAL (3) comes here following a win over 7½f at Rosehill four weeks ago, getting home by 1. 5 lengths. Has a win and three placings at this journey from six starts. Big run likely. ANTINO (1) could only manage eighth last time over 1m in the G1 The All-Star Mile at Flemington prior to a short break. Kept ticking over with a subsequent trial win at Deagon. One of the contenders. MISS JOELENE (4) drifted well back last start before storming home to score by a long neck over 6¾f at Doomben. Tackles a much tougher assignment but is ready for the challenge.
