BIRD WHISTLE (11) returns from a 35 day break after finishing second in the G3 NJC Spring Stakes at Newcastle last time. Ticking along well with a recent trial placing. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Capable of testing this field. MATIAS (3) got off the mark over 7½f at Newcastle last start, scoring by a head. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. This is tougher but he is capable of another big run.
