WAKU WAKU (14) has been racing well this campaign, scoring last start over 7f at Sunshine Coast to make it two wins from four runs this time in. Will find this tougher but she is right in this. FLYING AURELIUS (5) is a promising type who hasn't raced since finishing 5 lengths away in fourth over 6¾f at Doomben on June 4 which was the only run of that prep. Trialling well leading into this. Has won when fresh from a lay-off in the past. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Best figures should see him run well. ESJAY (4) built on a nice second two starts back at this track with a win over 6¾f at Ipswich two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 5 lengths. Jasper Franklin scored on him last time and retains the ride. Finds a tougher race but he has the talent to test this line-up. LARRIKIN ROGUE (1) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Doomben over 1m. Likely improver with strong prospects.
