EPIC PROPORTIONS (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at Doomben, beaten 1. 75 lengths into fourth. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. KING OF NAPLES (7) is close to breaking through, last start finishing just a head away in second over 6f at Lismore after being in the firing line all the way. Generally takes a sit but the draw makes it tricky. Goes up a rung or two but he is good enough to take this out. OUR MAGNUS (3) built on a nice second when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Toowoomba with success over 6f at Toowoomba three weeks ago, getting home by a head. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. ANEMACORE (10) lines up for the first time since May 31. Looking to emulate his win at this track to kick off the last campaign. Definite top-three chance.
