BENZOU (2) turned in a much better effort last start when beaten only a long neck into third at Sunshine Coast over 5f. Will drift back but wind up late. Will be tough to hold out. KIWI SPIRIT (5) scored by 1.3 lengths last start at Sunshine Coast over this distance after he came from a long way back on straightening. Has a very good record over this journey with two wins from three starts. Settles back early but winds up late. Will prove hard to hold out. LEAD ME ON (1) has not won for a long while. Last raced on July 5 when beaten 2 lengths into fifth at Sunshine Coast over 5f. Finds a more suitable contest and can turn things around. TIGER TIE (4) lifted strongly to score two runs back then was prominent in the run last time before finishing third over 5½f at Doomben. Has a high cruising speed. Solid claims on best form.
