Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. DARK VADOR (1) has put together back-to-back placings after scoring three back at Port Macquarie, most recently beaten 3 lengths into third over 6½f at Newcastle when he was always up in the leading division. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. HUSSY EMPRESS (6) was well fancied last time but could only manage second over 1m at Sunshine Coast. Shapes as one to consider. JOVITA (7) was going okay prior to finishing 7 lengths back in 11th last start over 1m1/2f at Gold Coast. Jag Guthmann-Chester has a solid record aboard this five-year-old mare so she can improve sharply.
