BLUE SPINEL (3) fought on for third last start over 5f at this track when she came from a long way back on straightening, making it two minor placings in a row. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. TRACK TALE (5) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 2 lengths when fourth in a 6f contest at Doomben four weeks ago. Nicely placed to get the prize. FIELD OF MYRTLE (8) scored in a at Ipswich but was below her best last time when tenth over 7f at this track. Nicely placed to turn things around.
