Scored at Doomben in a then finished second, beaten one length, over 7f at Gold Coast at the latest appearance three weeks ago. Nicely placed to atone. OUR MAGNUS (4) is building towards a win with placings at his last two runs, the latest effort a second over 6¾f at Ipswich when beaten 1.2 lengths. Facing a tougher assignment but is too good to overlook.
