PAYLINE (3) was a new acquisition for the Chris & Corey Munce stable last start when he made steady ground to run into third over 5f at this track at the first run back from a lay-off. Strong performer at this stage of the prep with a win and two minor placings from three runs. One of the genuine hopes in the race. TRANSATLANTIC (2) resuming from a six months break after finishing 15th in the G2 Queensland Guineas at this track and resumes here a gelding. Fitter for a trial win at Deagon. Bold showing expected. EPIC PROPORTIONS (1) started at 8/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 4 lengths at Warwick Farm over 5½f after being prominent at the turn. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. WONDERFUL RAYRAY (11) is a handy type who resumes after a break of six-and-a-half months. At his last appearance he finished ninth over 6f at Sunshine Coast, beaten 3.5 lengths. Fitter for a recent trial win. Has never missed the frame when fresh from a lay-off in two starts. Facing a tougher assignment but is among the better hopes.
