RISING RUBY (16) is a two-start maiden who returned last time and finished sixth at Toowoomba over 5½f, beaten 3.5 lengths. Bold showing expected with added fitness this time. ZELEZNY (4) finished third last time over 5¼f at Gold Coast Poly when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 2.25 lengths. Must raise the bar but a big run will not surprise.
