APPELLANT (2) impressed when successful on debut over 6f at Doomben two-and-a-half weeks ago. Has plenty of upside and should go on with it. FOOLSAY (4) drifted back on debut last start then wound up nicely to finish in the placings over 5f at Toowoomba. Likely improver so he is a strong chance. SIDLED (6) gave away a big start at the top of the straight last start and finished 13 lengths from the winner in sixth over 5f at Sunshine Coast. No surprise if he figured in the finish.
