Race Tip

MADRA RUA (3) raced once in the maiden campaign when well supported but could only manage sixth at Kenilworth over 6f back on April 28. Expected to be very competitive. FREEDOM FIGHTER (4) looked good at his only appearance five-and-a-half months ago over 6f at Greyville, finishing second and beaten one length. Sure to have improved over the break and is among the leading chances. SLIVER OF SUNSHINE (6) turned in a moderate effort on debut last start when fourth at this track over 6¼f, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Comes into calculations. UMZINGELI WENYATHI (10) closed last campaign with three consecutive minor placings and is back. After a break of 12 weeks. Reunites with Calvin Habib who has been in the money two times when aboard. Don't underestimate.
