Race Tip

CALL OF THE KAROO (1) was in contention all the way and fought on for second last start over 5f at this track, making it two minor placings in a row. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. RUBY REX (3) returns after five months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a fourth over 5f at Kenilworth. Good chance to break through. STARTING POINT (6) is a three-year-old filly facing the starter for the first time. From a very strong family, being by Gimmethegreenlight from the former top race mare All Is Secret. Promising type who is ready to run boldly. TAKE THAT (2) is on debut. By Gimmethegreenlight and is out of the James Crawford stable. Top-three chance.
