DESERT FRIEND (12) keen but stayed on strongly in a 1m2f contest here a fortnight ago and if coping with the drop back in trip could take plenty of beating. John McConnell is doubly represented with SLOWDOWNBARNEY (2) looking to bounce back after being a disappointing favourite behind Desert Friend last time. Worth another chance.
