OAKFIELD UTAH (3) has been freshened up since disappointing 29 days ago when 14th over 7½f at Rosehill in a tougher race. Best form is good enough so worth another chance. SORRENTO PALACE (4) improved last time out, finishing 1. 5 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 6f at Bathurst after being in the firing line on the bend. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. PATTERA (9) built on a nice second when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Nyngan with a win over 5f70yards at Wagga Riverside five weeks ago, getting home by a long neck. Going up a level this time but he is good enough to play a major role. IRISH JIG (2) was in the firing line on the turn and finished second last start over 6f at Tamworth, beaten half a length. Will be rock-hard fit. Nicely placed to fill a top-three spot again.
