POISEN POINT (14) is back after a break of six-and-a-half months. At the last run before the layoff she finished eighth over 7f at this track. Nicely placed and can get off the mark. SPECULA (7) raced on the speed from the outset last start and finished second, beaten half a length, over 5½f at Gilgandra. Nicely placed to play a major role.
