Steps up a level but he is capable of running a bold race. WINCHMAN (2) built on a nice second when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Ipswich with a win over 5f at Gold Coast a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by 0. 9 lengths. Danny Peisley scored on him last time and retains the ride. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is capable of running another bold race. THANKYOU HENRY (4) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when tenth over 5½f at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Placed to advantage and can run a better race. EXTREME DIAMOND (6) is back from a lay-off of six months and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 5½f at Goulburn. One of the genuine hopes in the race.
