BOOMTOWN BOSS (13) is a handy galloper who was 1. 3 lengths from the winner in third when resuming last start over 6½f at Rockhampton. Excellent winning chance. LORD OF BISCAY (15) met with solid support last start over 7f at Tamworth when third, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Tougher company here but is expected to be in the finish. THE INFLICTOR (7) has been about the mark of late. Last time out was 1. 5 lengths from the winner in fifth over 6½f in The Archer at Rockhampton. Will find this much tougher but still has winning claims on his best figures. TUNED (14) resumed last time out and finished second over 6f at Gold Coast, beaten a neck. Goes well at this journey with three wins from seven starts. Hard to knock.
