PROFOUNDLY (2) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 7f at Gold Coast, beaten a long neck after being in the firing line on the turn. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. DUSHENKA (1) ran on strongly only to just miss when fresh from a lay-off last start over 7f at Gold Coast. Should tighten right up following that outing. Nicely placed to take this out. CONTINGENCY (5) wasted no time getting off the mark as favourite on debut over 1m at Sunshine Coast two weeks ago. Sure to play a major role. CASTELLO GRANDE (4) was a most impressive maiden winner over 1m at Sunshine Coast last time out, scoring by 2.5 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Kyle Wilson-Taylor was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. This is tougher but he cannot be underestimated.
