NOW IS THE HOUR (3) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Tony Gollan stable. Resumes after finishing fifth at Hawkesbury at his last run five-and-a-half months ago. Will strip fitter for a trial win and looks nicely placed. Can return in winning form. WOOTTEN HYDE (9) was unplaced on debut then last start finished second over 6f at this track after being in contention on the bend. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. VALEDICTORIAN (7) was in contention on the bend and finished second last start over 5½f at Ipswich, beaten 1.3 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect a big run. HARD AS BROK (5) is back after a break of three-and-a-half months. At the last run before the layoff he finished fourth over 6¾f at this track. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Deagon trial. Has ability so don't underestimate.
