EXCEED SPEED (2) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished second at this track two starts back then scored by a long neck as public elect last time out over 7f at Eagle Farm. Taking on a better line-up this time but he is up to the challenge. MAKE A CALL (10) did well to score at this track two runs ago. Decent effort last time out when fourth over 1m at Eagle Farm, beaten 2.5 lengths after making up late ground. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. SECOND SUN (5) was allowed to drift back from an outside draw last time but found the line strongly to finish fourth, beaten 3 lengths, over 6¾f at this track. Was outdashed but got going late and the longer journey looks ideal. Solid each-way hope. KAIROS LOUIE (12) did a great job to score by a long neck over this course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot repeat the dose.
